Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply without restriction or reservation to ticket sales, festival access conditions, the running of the event and any use of the services offered by ZIRKUZ, in particular through zirkuz.ch and the dedicated ticketing platforms.

They are available at all times on zirkuz.ch and prevail, where applicable, over any other version or conflicting document.

Anyone purchasing a ZIRKUZ ticket or item confirms having read and accepted these terms, which form an integral part of every ticket sold. For tickets bought through partner companies, we recommend also reading their own terms and conditions.

Tickets are sold exclusively on zirkuz.ch, through our ticketing partner Smeetz SA, at the on-site box office subject to availability, and where applicable through platforms expressly licensed by ZIRKUZ. Any ticket obtained through another channel may be refused at the entrance.

Purchasing a ticket creates rights and obligations between the buyer and ZIRKUZ. The contract is based on these terms and, where applicable, on those of the ticketing partner, these terms taking precedence.

By buying a ticket, the buyer accepts the provisions on safety, access and any additional event regulations. Failure to comply may result in access being refused without compensation.

ZIRKUZ works with qualified providers with all due diligence, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted, flawless ticketing services, nor rule out intrusion into IT systems or misuse by third parties. All liability is excluded for damage resulting from such circumstances, including damage to the buyer's or a third party's IT system.

ZIRKUZ may stop ticket sales at any time without having to give a reason.

Prices are stated in Swiss francs, including VAT where applicable and at the rates in force. Ticketing service and handling fees are added to the ticket price.

Prices, reductions and any free admissions are detailed in the ticketing information and on the relevant pages of zirkuz.ch.

A ticket is only issued once payment has been authenticated and validated. That authentication is the sole responsibility of the buyer's financial institution or of the body it has mandated for such checks.

Ticket validity is checked at the entrance, in particular via the barcode or QR code. The legitimacy of the holder may also be verified. It is the buyer's responsibility to check the accuracy of the data on the ticket; the buyer is liable for any multiple use of it.

In the event of theft, loss or doubt, the buyer contacts ZIRKUZ, before or during the event. Where possible, and provided the ticket has not already been used, ZIRKUZ may cancel it and issue a new admission document. This service may be charged for.

If a barcode or QR code is damaged to the point where verification is impossible, access may be refused. ZIRKUZ cannot be held liable if, in such circumstances, the holder is unable to enter the festival on time.

Forged, copied or fraudulently obtained tickets are void. ZIRKUZ may refuse all tickets held by the same buyer, including those that are not forged. Where several printouts or copies of the same ticket are in circulation and access has already been granted, entry may be refused to the next holder.

ZIRKUZ is not required to verify the identity of the person presenting a ticket, nor the legitimacy of a ticket whose imitation cannot be unmistakably identified during the entrance check. Refusal of access on this ground gives no right to a refund.

The ticket must be kept until the end of the event and shown on request.

Trading in tickets acquired for commercial purposes is prohibited. A breach may lead to the loss of all rights attached to the ticket, claims for damages, the surrender of any profits made and a permanent ban on purchasing tickets.

Selling or distributing products of any kind inside the festival grounds or in their immediate surroundings, as well as organising gatherings, is prohibited without written authorisation from ZIRKUZ.

The programme is communicated through ZIRKUZ's official channels, including in the event of changes. Cancellations or changes to the programme, line-up or timetable are always possible and give no right to a refund or exchange.

If an entire night is definitively cancelled, refunds are in principle excluded: ZIRKUZ reserves the right to decide, based on the reasons for the cancellation and as far as possible, whether tickets are refunded or exchanged.

Unfavourable weather does not give rise to a refund, as the event takes place both outdoors and under covered structures.

In the event of postponement, the ticket is valid only for the new date. No refund is granted in principle.

Where ZIRKUZ decides to refund, the tickets concerned must be presented according to the instructions communicated. ZIRKUZ reserves the right to deduct any related costs from the net amount.

Force majeure means any external and/or unforeseeable event, beyond the control and actions of ZIRKUZ, making it impossible to hold the festival.

Where such circumstances prevent not only the event itself but also its preparation or the construction work required for it to run properly, ZIRKUZ may cancel or postpone the event even if the force majeure event has ended before the scheduled date.

ZIRKUZ's obligations are suspended for the duration of a force majeure event. This suspension cannot give rise to any liability for non-performance, nor to damages or late-payment penalties.

The minimum age for the 2026 edition is communicated with the ticketing and at the site entrance. ZIRKUZ reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone below that age, even when accompanied by an adult, and to ask for identification.

Every visitor must submit, at the request of staff, to a security check at the entrance: body search and inspection of bags and personal items. Checks may also be carried out inside the grounds to verify compliance with these terms.

The event combines outdoor spaces and covered structures in November: clothing and footwear suited to the weather are strongly recommended.

The site is reached on foot, by public transport or via the car parks indicated in the practical information. Visitors are encouraged to favour public transport and safe night-time journeys home; driving under the influence of alcohol or narcotics is prohibited by law.

Visitors must follow at all times the instructions of ZIRKUZ and its appointed staff, including security, police and fire services.

Sound levels and lighting effects match those of an electronic music event. Hearing protection is recommended, and photosensitive visitors should take this into account.

ZIRKUZ reserves the right to interrupt, cancel or evacuate the event where necessary or if the safety of the public can no longer be guaranteed.

In accordance with Vaud legislation on smoking in public places, smoking is prohibited in the enclosed public areas of the site. Consuming, possessing or dealing narcotics is strictly prohibited; offenders may be removed from the grounds and, where applicable, handed over to the police.

Recording sound and images during the event is permitted for strictly private purposes. No commercial use of such recordings is allowed.

The site and its surroundings may be filmed and photographed by the organisation or its authorised partners. Anyone entering the grounds consents to the free use, without compensation, of their image and voice for the festival's communication.

Anyone wishing to object to the publication of an image showing them may write to info@zirkuz.ch: the request will be handled as quickly as possible.

Ticket holders accept these terms as well as any measures, including health measures, that may be imposed by law or by the authorities.

In the event of non-compliance with these terms, the holder may be escorted off the grounds without compensation. Depending on the circumstances, a permanent access ban may be imposed, likewise without compensation.

Equipment brought in or used in breach of these terms may be confiscated and, where applicable, handed over to the police.

ZIRKUZ reserves the right to claim damages, to report offences to the competent authority and to file a complaint for unlawful entry with the public prosecutor if an access ban is not respected.

ZIRKUZ gives no guarantee as to the completeness, timeliness or accuracy of the information published on its communication channels, and cannot be held liable for the consequences of any errors. No guarantee is given regarding content published by third parties.

The content of zirkuz.ch is the property of ZIRKUZ and protected by the applicable intellectual property rights. Photographs, illustrations, videos, logos, slogans and trademarks related to the festival remain the property of ZIRKUZ.

Any reproduction or exploitation of these elements is prohibited without prior written authorisation.

ZIRKUZ excludes all liability for personal injury or material damage arising from the organisation or the running of the event, except for fault attributable to it.

Ticket holders attend the event at their own risk and release ZIRKUZ from all liability for material damage, loss or theft, as well as for any accident.

ZIRKUZ reserves the right to adapt these terms at any time. Changes are communicated appropriately, in particular by publication on zirkuz.ch.

The unenforceability or invalidity of any clause does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

Swiss law applies. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Lausanne.
